Though the Wisconsin Stay Safer at Home Order has been lifted, MFFC will be resuming its guide trips on May 28, 2020. We’ll be making some temporary modifications to our full and half day trips to assure our guests a healthy and safe trip.
The following modifications will be made with all of our trips:
- Transportation: Clients will be driving to the stream in a separate vehicle from mine and will be following me to maintain social distancing, health, and safety.
- Lunches (Full Day Trips): Lunch service will be temporarily suspended to maintain good health and safety practices. Clients will need to provide their own lunch.
- Snacks: Snacks will temporarily not be provided for the same reason as lunches. Clients are to provide their own snacks and drinks.
- Knot Lubrication: Knots will no longer be wetted down with saliva before tightening. We plan to use stream water or fly floatant.
- Rod grips will be wiped down with sanitary wipes or hand sanitizer.
- We will be providing hand sanitizer for our trips.
- I will have mask and a sungaiter(Buff). Clients will need to bring a mask and sungaiter.
- I will maintain a safe distance from clients while guiding.
