The island on Cay Caulker is a small laid back tourist island in northern Belize in the Caribbean Sea. This is one of the more diverse saltwater fisheries out there-bonefish, permit, tarpon, jacks, and barracuda swim within close proximity of the island. This is a good fishery for beginning saltwater anglers. We stay at the Sea Dreams Hotel on the island that caters to fly anglers. Trips range from 5 night/4 day to 7 night/6 day and includes guided fishing, breakfast and lunch, and lodging. Dinners are on our own to give us the chance to experience the island, its dining choices, and its culture.
Dream of catching a permit on a fly? This is the place to go-you will see and get more shots at permit than anywhere in the world. While tarpon are available on the island and there are some bonefish opportunities, this is primarily a permit focused destination and not recommended for beginning saltwater anglers.
Do you want to catch big bonefish in a wilderness setting among sand flats and mangrove creeks with the best flats guides in the Bahamas, and lots of shots at fish? Then Little Abaco Bonefish Lodge is the place for you.
