Still in the Early Trout season. Longer days, warmer weather and water temperatures start to make the magic happen. Fish actively chase streamers, bluewing olive mayflies start hatching with fish feeding on the surface. We offer both full and half day trips for trout this month. Steelhead trips are also available later in the month.

Trout fishing is still good with late spring/early summer hatches, and smallmouth bass are hungry and feisty after the spawn. This month is a good month to book 2 days in a row. This gives you the opportunity to fish for trout 1 day and smallmouth bass the next day.

Trout are at their prettiest and putting on the feed bag in preparation for the upcoming spawning season and winter. The Salmon Rodeo-the King Salmon Run on the Lake Michigan tributaries also happens this month. Salmon trips are full day only. Trout trips are full and half day.
